NOT the golfing machine Swinging – Separation from TGM

I’m not into the golfing machine system since thinking of the swing as pure geometrical idea where the picture align with the inner intention is very far from how I see the golf swing. I only write this article since one of the protocols that I teach is called Big Arc Swinger. And another is named the Trail Power Hitter but it doesn’t origin from the golfing machine.

I’ve actually never read it since I wanted a fresh perspective. I’ve studied loads and loads of other mechanical instruction to be able to understand what the best did theoretically but the closest I come to TGM is studying Mac O’Grady which I believe is a development of their hitting protocol.

I’m quite certain that I at some points tangent their teachings but then it’s because of us coming to the same conclusions, not because I used it as my method of learning or teaching.

I’m sure this is one of the finest attempts of describing the golf swing but I had the opportunity to play with great golfers in my youth. None of them used mechanical instruction as their base layer. My thesis has always been that the best of the best didn’t complicate – they made it easier.

I focus mainly on the athletic intentions that you can perform from your minds perspective. A golf swing isn’t a machine in my opinion. What we see on video or in front of us is the outcome of our intentions in the golf club. We can observe the effects of certain causes. In my opinion – if you want change you need to act in the cause layer. The inner layer.
